Rob turns Twenty One @ Forty One

I havnet blogged in a long while, but last nights dinner deserves a post.
Rob took a small group of us out to Forty-One, which for all you "clarets" out there, is located on level 42 of Chifley Tower. It was truly an amazing experience, and for what Rob paid, it bloody better have been.

Where do i start?

Firstly, the view from the private room we had was AWESOME. Shame i couldnt get a photo of it, due to the reflection of the glass.

The food. Well what can i say? I admit that i am an uncultured swine and i really couldln't tell you why it was so good, in fact, i went home and googled several of the things that i ate.

The full menu can be found here. there were 7 courses in all, and each was spectacularly prepared.

Unfortunately, my camera skills are not up to scratch but there are photos of ...

Roast Boneless Rack Of Gippsland Lamb, Creamed Parsley & Leeks,

Sauteed Potato Gnocchi, Black Olive Infused Jus (1999)

Coconut and Vanilla Panna Cotta With Pineapple Sorbet

We got Rob some poker chips, which I hope to use soon :D
